SoGEA stands for Single Order Generic Ethernet Access. It retains the copper section between the street cabinet and your premises, so your estimated speed depends on the line. We’ll check your address and talk through your day-to-day workload before recommending it.

Is SoGEA the same as Full Fibre?
No. SoGEA uses fibre to the street cabinet and copper for the final connection. Full Fibre runs fibre all the way to your premises.
Can I keep making business calls?
Ask us about a compatible digital voice service and number transfer. Broadband alone does not include an analogue telephone service.
How fast will my connection be?
We’ll obtain an estimate for your premises. Copper line length and condition affect speeds, so we won’t promise a speed before checking your address.
SoGEA availability and performance depend on your address and line conditions. It is not Full Fibre. A digital calling service is separate; check alarm and payment equipment compatibility before migrating. Pricing is supplied by quotation, with VAT, contract term and any scheduled price changes clearly identified.
